High Performance Ethernet for cloud scale CUDA

Chelsio iWARP 10/25/40/50/100GbE adapter solutions enable streamlined, simplified configuration of high-performance RDMA networking for NVIDIA GPUDirect applications. iWARP’s ability to work with any standard L2 switch without depending on DCB or PFC or ETS, enables immediate plug-and-play GPU clustering deployment without requiring a concurrent switch upgrade.

We’re very excited to share major milestones recently achieved by our iWARP offering for NVIDIA GPU clustering.

Chelsio announced its next generation Terminator silicon, T6.
  • Supports 1/10/25/40/50/100 GbE
  • Out-of-the-box support for GPUDirect RDMA
  • Runs T5 software AS-IS, preserving the existing software investment
  • PCI-E Gen3 x 16
Chelsio and NVIDIA recently hosted a webinar to discuss the benefits of GPUDirect RDMA using Chelsio iWARP (RDMA/TCP) solution as the no-risk path for Ethernet-based, large-scale NVIDIA GPU clustering.

Chelsio showcased iWARP in a CUDA clustering demonstration at the recent NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2016.

Chelsio also presented two sessions on deployment strategies for using 40GbE iWARP in GPU applications that can scale to cloud performance requirements at the recent NVIDIA GTC 2016.

Chelsio joined ARM community as a partner.

Latest Videos Recent Publications
Chelsio added a number of News reports and white papers to its technical library, including:
  • Chelsio published a paper describing the fourth incarnation of RoCE protocol and the actual deployment challenges associated with it.

  • Chelsio published a paper which provides details of the T6 architecture and the new features.

  • Chelsio demonstrated High Performance GPU Clustering with 40GbE iWARP at NVIDIA GTC 2016. The demo provided an overview of iWARP RDMA and shows how GPU-accelerated simulation software leverage 40GbE iWARP and NVIDIA GPUDirect RDMA.
